I've been planning to do the same but I was wondering if it would cause any issues being on the same PCB and such so it's good to her that this is all it takes, this is what I planned to do anyway I just wasn't sure if the radio wouldn't like the switches being removed. Also I'm using the TX16S but I'm sure it's the same deal. I have no idea why they would design the radio like that with the switches square in the way for all pinchers.
